What does “running foot” mean for a roof border?
A running foot measures length only. If the front roof edge is 32 feet long, that edge requires about 32 running feet of border before allowing for cutting and joints. You do not multiply the length by the border height when calculating the standard roof-border product rate.
This is why roof borders and gable jaali should not be measured the same way. Roof-edge borders are long repeating strips; a gable panel fills a two-dimensional opening.
How do I measure my roof edge without climbing onto the roof?

Which PVC thickness should I choose for a roof border?
